Chicken & Couscous One-Pot Recipe

I want to share with you a lovely recipe for lunch that your kids will absolutely love.
Chicken and Israeli couscous in one pot. I don’t cook the Israeli couscous separately; I cook it with the chicken. You only need a few ingredients to make this wonderful dish, and the result is amazing.
The wings are soft and flaky, and the Israeli couscous absrobs the sauce and the flavors.
This dish is perfect for a Friday evening meal or for the middle of the week.

3 Servings

Ingredients:

1 pound halved wings / drumsticks / quarters
1 cup flakes (any type will do)
1 large onion, diced
1.5 cups water
1 tablespoon cilantro

Spices:
1/2 tablespoon sweet paprika (Moroccan)
3/4 teaspoon chicken grill
1/2 teaspoon ground shata pepper
1/2 teaspoon hot paprika
3/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 tablespoon a. Soup

Preparation:

1. Heat a large pot (sauté) with 4-5 tablespoons of oil. Fry the onion and garlic for about a minute. Push aside as much as possible. Add the wings to the pot in a single layer.

2. Add the spices, water and cilantro. Shake gently. Bring to a boil. Cover. Reduce heat to medium and cook for about an hour.

3. Add the flakes. Shake the pot so that the flakes are covered with sauce. Cook. Cook for 10 minutes. Leave covered for another 10 minutes.
