Fattoush Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

4 – 5 cucumbers
20 cherry tomatoes
2 shushka peppers/regular
2 pitas
Half a cup of olives
Red onion
White onion

Vegetable seasoning:
5 – 6 tablespoons oil
4 tablespoons vinegar
Salt – pepper

Pita seasoning:
4 – 5 tablespoons olive oil/canola
3/4 teaspoon hyssop
Half a teaspoon paprika
A third of a teaspoon salt

Preparation:

1. Cut the pita bread into small cubes, add the seasoning and mix well, heat a dry pan without oil and toast the pita bread cubes for about 7-8 minutes on high heat, tossing occasionally so that the cubes brown on all sides.

2. Cut the cucumbers into slices and cut in half, thinly slice the cherry tomatoes, cut the onions into quarters and slice thinly, transfer to a bowl with the olives and season.

3. Before serving, add the pita bread cubes, mix lightly and serve.
