Grilled Cheese Malawach
This recipe is the only reason I keep Malawach at home. It’s perfect for when you need to make
something quickly and delicious. Every parent knows that moment, when the kids need to eat and you don’t feel like cooking something.
Notice how I made it, I gave up the toaster even though it was possible to make it using it, and I ended up using a griddle pan.
Listen, this is how you make a nice pastry for your kids in under 5 minutes.
One serving
Ingredients:
Malawach
Tomato sauce / ketchup / nothing
2 slices of yellow cheese
Tomato cut into thin slices
Onion, thinly sliced
Preparation:
1. Thaw the Malawach a little, cut each half in half, put tomato sauce / ketchup or nothing, put a slice of yellow cheese in the center, tomato slices and onion and salt.
2. Lift the sides and place on the vegetables, it looks like a large triangle.
3. Heat a griddle pan with oil, fry the Malawach over medium heat and patiently until golden brown, turn over and continue frying until golden brown.
Cutting in the middle and seeing the yellow cheese burst is a dream.
Unbelievably tasty!
