I’ve been asked many times how to blanch tomatoes. Is it complicated ? No, not at all. The best way is to show it in pictures.
It isn’t hard work, boiling water for 5 minutes. There are always tomatoes in the fridge which don’t look good any more, so before you throw them to the Trash (they are too expensive), use them for something.
Make an X on in the bottom of the tomatoes

Boil water for 5 minutes, and put into boiling water.
The tomatoes are peeled within seconds.
You may chop them and fry them with onion, garlic and mushrooms.
Very tasty.
