Kid-Friendly Pasta Recipe

The pasta they serve at the kindergarden is always better than the pasta at home, every little child can say that. I make good pastas, but when my kids were little, they insisted that the pasta they ate at the kindergarden was better.
I’ve tried so hard making this pasta, but I failed again and again. Eventually, I got sick of trying — I
approached the kindergarden’s cook and asked for the popular pasta recipe she’s been making.
From there I went straight to the kitchen and couldn’t stop laughing by how simple and easy this recipe was, it’s also super delicious!
I ate a whole plate by myself — this pasta is much better than any pasta I’ve ever made.
But the real test is the kids and especially Roy, who now turned 23 and isn’t a big fan of pasta. They all ate it joyfully enjoying every pleasing bite.
This recipe is really simple, it uses ingredients everyone has at home.
Meet your new addiction — a kid-friendly pasta recipe that is ready in just 10 minutes — it turned out to be wonderful!
You wouldn’t believe how tasty it is.

2 Servings

Ingredients:

250 g spaghetti / any pasta you like
Finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
100 g tomato paste (2 tablespoons)
A little more water

Spices:
A teaspoon of sweet paprika
A teaspoon of sugar
A tablespoon of chicken broth
A third of a teaspoon of salt
A third of a teaspoon of black pepper

For brave children:
A tablespoon of harissa
A hot pepper, cut into thin rings

Preparation:

1.) Make the pasta based on the instructions shown on the package. Drain, wash, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, mix and leave it aside.

2.) Preheat a pot with 3 tablespoons of oil. Fry the onion and the pepper on medium heat until they turn lightly golden. Add the garlic and fry for another minute — don’t forget to mix sometimes so it won’t burn. Add the tomato paste, spices, harissa and water and keep cooking for 2 minutes.

3.) Add the pasta and cook for 2 – 3 minutes. Mix sometimes so the pasta will absorb all of the flavors.
