Stir fry mushrooms recipe

I love mushrooms in any shape or form. Cooked, stir-fried, fresh. Anything goes. Every weekend I simply have to make something with mushrooms.
They make an incredible side dish and the best part about them, other than their wonderful flavor, is that they only take 5 minutes to make. This is one of the easiest recipes out there and you’ll see why. They disappear as quickly as it took to make them.

Makes 2-3 servings

Ingredients:

25 champignon mushrooms
2 tablespoons cilantro
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
Ground black pepper
3/4 tablespoon of soup powder
Salt (not sure if needed)

Preparation:

1. Halve the mushrooms. With larger mushrooms, cut them into quarters.

2. Heat a pan with 4-5 Tbsp of oil and when hot, add the mushroom pieces and stir-fry for a minute, then add the other ingredients and stir-fry for another minute or less, then remove from the heat.

That’s it!

Served with Chinese rice with vegetables(the tastiest rice there is) and baked vegetables.

Good to know…
This dish is best prepared just before serving. You can use maple syrup instead of the honey.
