Sweet Cheese Filling Recipe
I really love chocolate babka, especially when it’s filled with cheese.
This is my favorite cheese filling for chocolate babka — it’s so easy to make; all you have to do it just mix — a cheese filling with a gentle touch of vanilla.
A classic cheese filling, and if you want — you can also add some raisins.
I use the simplest cheese — 5%. Trust me — you’ll never stop licking the bowl 🙂
The filling is enough for 3 chocolate babka cakes
Ingredients:
500 g 5% white cheese
Yolk (yellow)
60 g sugar (3 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon instant vanilla pudding powder
Preparation:
1. Line a strainer with a towel, pour the cheese in, wait 3-4 hours, in the meantime the liquids come out. Another option is to place the cheese in a Tetra (old diaper) or a T-shirt to hang over the sink and let the liquids come out.
2. On hot days, it is recommended to put in the refrigerator.
3. Mix all the ingredients. It is a bit difficult, but you can manage. Another option is to mix at low speed in a mixer with the dough hook until everything is uniform and smooth. You can fill a piping bag or spread with a spoon.
