Baked Chicken Wings Recipe
This is a perfect snack, especially when the wings are cut in half. It’s a fun recipe to make and even better to eat. My three boys can devour an entire bowl in one sitting. Serve with baked potatoes and you have an easy and delicious lunch for you and the family.
Makes 3-4 servings
Ingredients:
1 kg of chicken wings
1 Tbsp ketchup
60 ml olive oil (1/4 cup)
1 Tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp sweet paprika
1 tsp minced garlic
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
Salt
Preparation:
1. I recommend using halved chicken wings. I already buy them that way but you can also cut them at home. It’s much easier to eat the wings when they’re pre-cut.
2. Place the wings in a bowl, add the other ingredients and mix. Let marinate for around an hour.
3. Preheat an oven to 190°C.
4. Arrange the wings in one layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for around one hour.
Served with baked potatoes
Good to know…
You can also use whole wings. You can leave out the honey. If you’re short on time you don’t have to leave them to marinate, or if you do have the time, you can let them marinate in the fridge for several hours before you make them.
