Easy Pancake Recipe
I get to make a lot of pancakes and this is one of the things that my kids love and even I love to eat them myself. Imagine that you could make something sweet in only a couple minutes, and that’s the magic of the pancakes. Want to know what the secret of this pancake is?
This is the fastest, easiest and cleanest method to make delicious pancakes. The batter is liquid enough to transfer it into a pouring pitcher to make the pancakes. Another little tip is to leave the batter aside for 30 minutes or even a little longer, it makes the pancakes better.
Pour small amounts of the batter each time into the pan. The maple syrup is already waiting on the
table. I don’t even call the kids, they just smell the pancakes and they instantly come. The whole thing only takes 10 minutes. A beautiful pile of pancakes and everyone enjoys eating it.
5 Large pancakes / 10 Medium pancakes / Many small pancakes
Ingredients:
2 large eggs
240 ml (1 cup) milk or water
4 tablespoons canola oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
80 g (1/3 cup) sugar
190 g (1 1/4 cups) flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
Preparation:
1.) Whip / whisk the eggs and the sugar for a couple seconds. Slowly add the oil and the milk while whisking, add the salt, and at the end add the flour along with the baking powder. Whisk until a smooth mixture.
2.) Transfer the mixture to a pouring pitcher, preheat a pan on medium heat with 3 tablespoons of oil and pour small piles of the pancake mixture onto the hot pan. Fry until you see small bubbles
appearing on top of the pancake, flip carefully and keep frying for a short time until the pancakes turn golden. Place on an absorbent paper.
3.) Serve with maple syrup, chocolate, honey, date honey…
Tips for making the pancakes:
Making in advance – You can make the batter an hour or even two in advance, it only makes the
pancakes better.
Mixing too much – Don’t mix too much, meaning mix until the mixture is smooth and stop.
Frying – The pan should be hot, yet not too hot. If the pan is cold, the pancakes will absorb the oil and change their shape. You can also add some butter along with the oil — it’s a great upgrade.
The pancakes stick to the pan – The pancakes should move freely. If they don’t, quickly replace the pan with a non-stick one.
I flipped the pancakes too early – Before flipping, make sure that they turned golden and only then flip.
A beautiful round shape – Specifically in this recipe, use a pouring pitcher and pour piles onto the pan — it’s the easiest and cleanest method.
