Baked mushroom burger
Don’t run away; I know hamburgers are generally made of meat, but it is good to have a change and besides, one doesn’t always feel like cooking meat or ‘I have forgotten to defreeze the meat”.
The vegetarian hamburger is not such a bad option and even very tasty and if I haven’t mentioned it before, it is baked and not fried.
Ingredients:
20 Champignon Mushrooms
3 Portobello Mushrooms
Chopped onion
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 handful of chopped parsley
2 eggs
Soup powder
Diced black pepper
Salt
Preparation:
1. Fry the onion, chop the mushrooms and add to the onion, fry for 2-3 minutes, take the mushrooms out and filter the liquids, then put them back and add all the ingredients.
2. Cover a pan with oily baking paper; if you have a ring, fill it up with two spoons of the hamburger mixture, tighten and put in the pan; if you don’t have a ring, make regular meatballs and put in the pan.
3. Bake at 180°C, for 15 minutes or until it becomes yellow on one side and 10 minutes on the other.
Serve with Tahini or sour cream dip.
