Strawberry Whipped Cream Pie
This isn’t the pie you are familiar with, that requires blind baking and dealing with shortcrust pastry. I wanted to make an easy strawberry whipped cream pie that doesn’t require much effort.
I made an impressive cake that turned out to be wonderful!
Now that the strawberry’s price has finally reduced, it’s the perfect time to make this incredible pie.
I even say that this recipe is for lazy people — yet the result is great.
This cake has 3 beautiful layers — a soft vanilla cake with a whipped cream layer, and then a
strawberry layer on top.
Here is a really easy way for making a fabulous strawberry pie.
24 cm round pie pan
Ingredients:
2 eggs L
150 g sugar (half a cup + heaped tablespoon)
120 ml canola oil (half a cup)
200 g yogurt with refined sweetness
60 ml water (quarter cup)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
210 g plain flour (one and a half cups)
1 and a half teaspoons baking powder
Whipped cream:
250 ml heavy cream (box)
80 g instant vanilla (4 tablespoons)
180 ml milk (3/4 cup)
20 g sugar (tablespoon)

Preparation:
1.) Preheat the oven to 180C°/356°F and grease the pan.
2.) In the mixer bowl, whisk eggs and sugar for about a minute. Add oil, heavy cream, vanilla extract and water. Whisk and add the flour along with the baking powder. Whisk on low speed until a smooth mixture and stop.
3.) Transfer to the pie pan, flatten evenly, bake for about 30 minutes and cool down. Gently take the cake out of the pan.
4.) Whip heavy cream, instant vanilla and milk until stiff peaks form. Spread / pipe on the cake and
before serving, decorate with strawberries.
