Easy And Delicious Oven-Baked Chicken Recipe
I’m in love! The flavors of this chicken are so good.
Chicken with potatoes and onions, I put them in the oven, the good smells started to waft around the house, Roy who came back from the military for the weekend comes out of his room and wants to know what I’m making and when we’re sitting down to eat.
This is the easiest chicken to make, you put it in the oven and then you can forget about it, it’s the most delicious chicken ever. It comes out soft and juicy, soft potatoes and at the bottom the sauce
accumulates. Just dip the challah and enjoy the bite.
3 – 4 Servings
Ingredients:
4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
5 potatoes
1 large onion
For the sauce:
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 generous tablespoon of date syrup (silan) / honey
1 leveled tablespoon of grilled chicken seasoning
3/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 tablespoon chicken bouillon powder
1 cup water
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F)
2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into (thick) wedges. Boil the potato wedges in salted water for 5 minutes, then drain.
4. Roughly chop the onion into large, even pieces and place them in a large bowl with the chicken and potato wedges.
5. In a small bowl, mix all of the sauce ingredients together. Pour the sauce over the chicken, potato wedges, and onion slices. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
6. Transfer the ingredients to a baking pan and pour 1 cup of water into the pan from the side. Bake for 90 minutes, occasionally opening the oven to spoon the accumulating sauce over the chicken thighs.
