Easy Chocolate Butter Cookies Recipe

Everyone loves butter cookies, they are crispy and delicious, and next to the chocolate of 4 in the afternoon there is no better combination than that, wait a minute I want to upgrade the cookies, still the same basic and easy recipe but with the addition of cocoa.
I made marble cookies with 2 colors, light and dark, in one cookie, but not neat, but a mess that gives a lovely beauty, and the secret of this dough is that it keeps its shape in baking, which means that any shape you choose will keep it and a beautiful cookie will come out.
Wonderful crispy marble cookies in 10 minutes of messing around, I recommend turning on the oven, the coffee is ready.

About 40 units

Ingredients:

Light dough:
100 g cold butter, cut into cubes
150 g flour (cup + tablespoon)
80 g sugar (half a cup less a tablespoon)
Half an egg

Dark dough:
100 g cold butter, cut into cubes
150 g flour (cup + tablespoon)
100 g sugar (half a cup)
Half an egg
A tablespoon of cocoa powder
A teaspoon of chocolate powder

Preparation:

1. In the mixer bowl, put the butter, flour and sugar, using the dough hook, process the ingredients on low speed until there are small crumbs, it resembles couscous.

2. Beat the egg, add half of the egg to the mixer bowl, weigh it, it comes out to about 25 g, continue to process the dough on low speed into coarse pieces and stop.

3. Collect the pieces into a dough ball and set aside.

4. It is recommended to wash and clean the mixer bowl and dough hook, but it is not mandatory, put the butter cubes in the bowl, add sugar, flour, cocoa and chocolate, using the dough hook, process the dough into small crumbs (chocolate couscous), add the other half of the egg, process into coarse dough pieces and stop.

5. Collect into a ball and wash the bowl and dough hook and dry.

6. Return the 2 balls to the mixer bowl and using the dough hook mix on low speed, count to 5 and stop. This should leave 2 colors combined.

7. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and prepare a baking sheet with baking paper.

8. Flour baking paper, cut the dough in half, roll between 2 floured baking sheets, cut out shapes and transfer to the pan.

9. Bake for 9 – 10 minutes, do not touch, cool.
